Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Yeah - I think that would be cool, but I wouldn't know exactly how to do it. (...) Do be honest, that was just a coincidence - I just knew that that vig was somewhat popular, so I decided to make a stereogram of it. Ley, I like yours - I saw (...)   Re: New Space Moc - Amazing Stories

(...) Thanks Ross, and shoot forgot to post it there, thanks. As well it should be called Wonder Stories not Amazing Stories. Oh well. Janey "Its too late to think, Red Brick" (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: New Space Moc - Amazing Stories

(...) Very nice, Janey. I especially like the radial greebling underneath, but you've managed to capture the feel of a city in microscale very well. ROSCO (Added .build.microscale) (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

New Space Moc - Amazing Stories

Here is another addition to my retro look at space. (URL) After browsing the concept gallery at CSF I was inspired to build another "ship". The original drawing was from the science fiction cover artwork by Frank R. Paul on the Nov 1929 issue of (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Building a Better Moonbase

I'm starting a discussion over on the Classic-Space Forum about developing a new set of respectful guidelines for creating a well designed Moonbase.   Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) It's nice to see others working in the stereogram field. You may have missed this: (2 URLs) Also (URL) here.> I'm not sure about minifig scale spacing for the camera, but I shall do some experimentation. Jeffery, do you have a special lense (...)   Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) That's really great! And being busy is something I completely understand - I can't say that I have relaxed:-) This thread brought up the use of vignettes for stereograms, which is another really neat possibilty. Looking forward to your pix! (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

--SNIP-- (...) Hi Joe, I've not forgotten you asked me to do that a while back. I've just been completely busy with other things. I even got a really cool povray macro that does proper stereo (as opposed to the slightly cheated stereo you get by (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) I'll need to take a look at these tonight - whatis potentially neat about stereograms is that the scalee can be manipulated by changing the distance between cameras - the wider the gap the smaller the scale. i want to see pics done with a (...)   Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) True, it's usually nice to have both. It's too bad that you lose so much detail with most parallel views, though, since most people's eyes don't diverge beyond a certain distance. (...) I think Todd did these long ago-- he actually is the one (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Cool! Another recommendation would be to make these parallel-view stereograms - those can viewed through a stereoscope, or by a person who stares past the art...the eyes need to be parallel. Thanks! I've been wondering when someone would be (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

I'm not announcing any particular MOC, but I've just updated my BS Gallery with steriograms (those 3-d eye-crossing pictures) of a bunch of my MOCS. Please note that these aren't like "magic eye" pics, where some indiscernable shape pops out - these (...)   Re: Several Space MOCs

(...) Hi Florian- my favorite is the space police station. I always thought they needed a larger central station, and this MOC captures the space police flavor perfectly. I love it! -Cyndi (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space)

  Several Space MOCs

Hello everyone, I'd like to show you my space models: (URL) They're all available for download in LDraw-MPD-Format (as instructions).   Re: Quasar I with updated pics - sorry about that

(...) Thanks! The only thing to note is that TLG never made the curved slopes in blue I made this in CAD before trying it "in the brick," so I didn't know. However, I'm sure they'll eventually come out with blue versions, so I'll just wait - I'll (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

You've got a really nice schmoovy shape on the front of that. Looks very organic! Excellent work, I hope to see more! -Lenny (19 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Quasar I with updated pics - sorry about that

Sorry people - I had to fix the pictures on the BS gallery, and because of a glitch, it wouldn't let me use the same names, so the pics in the previous post are broken. Here's the message from the previous post: "Some of you may have seen my Red Sun (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Quasar I - Remake of the Red Sun

Sorry to reply to myself - I just wanted to apologize for the poor quality pics (and the black BG). I had to use LDView to generate the pics, and as much as I love the renders it produces (especially the specular highlights), I can't say that it (...)
