  Re: CLPS Mail Ship

That is a very good ship! Very strong utilitarian feel, and a good attention to details, with the interior. Does it come with landing gear? JP. (19 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Updated 6929 ?!

I was looking the "Omega" on brickshelf and noticed this picture : (URL) looks like someone did a pretty good job of constructing a good copy of the 6929 Starfleet Voyager out of available parts. Does any one know any more about this model ? I'd (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.space)

  Re: CLPS Mail Ship

--SNIP-- (...) I really like this ship. It's got a good utalitarian feel to it and I quite like the use of the train windows. One thing I'm not so sure about is the doors. I think they look too flimsy to fit with the rest of the ship. A little (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  CLPS Mail Ship

Hi all. After two years of lurking, I've decided to post one of my MOC's on Lugnet. The CLPS mail ship is, of course, a mail ship. Why would people in a space going civilization write letters? Beats me. We have the internet. We still write letters. (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Tony Hafner wrote: <snip> This is completely awesome, Tony! I can hardly wait to show this to my son Ross-- he will go bonkers:-) I am going to suggest to him that he create such a MOC using the new Mindstorms NXT for our (...)   Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) Although the design itself is rather spartan, and dare I say, a bit bland, that video of the WMD in action is awesome! I'd love to see a bigger, sleeker version of this. I think you could make the turret a whole lot cooler by mimicking some (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Bring it on, pal! We'll just have to mechanize such MOCs as (URL) Shaun Sullivan's handiwork>! TRAINSTRAINTRAINS! JOHN (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

(...) This thing is my favorite operable MOC in memory. I think it has inspired a new level of competition too. Now only if generation 2 can be made to hit the town figs and not the space attack force it is supposedly fighting with... Jeff (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Way to max out the playability, Tony. I might have to dig out my manas too. My favourite detail, though, has to be the minifig exposed on the top. It reminds me of the early days of Lego Space. Peace and Playability, Professor Whateverly (URL) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  WMD: Weapon of Moonbase Defense

As seen at NWBrickCon 2005: (4 URLs) The (URL) WMD> is a moonbase module that features cannons that really fire, controlled wirelessly using a Mana unit. It rotates, elevates, and shoots 4 Technic arrows. Special thanks to David Wegmuller for (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.technic, lugnet.space, FTX) !!
