You might be able to polish it out with a polishing kit sold for scale modelers to fix scratches in clear parts and rub out paint. It's basically a series of progressively-finer grits and polishing compounds. It depends on how deep the scratches (...) (19 years ago, 2-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) I saw it yesterday and build it asap ;) Great 4WD vehicle! I've only replaced the two "3647 - Technic Gear 8 Tooth" with "4265c - Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth" and used the white rubber band.
