 | | Technic scale bike fun
|
| While Bram was at my house building his II-Blade, I set to work on my first Technic Fig scale bike. Ostensibly it's a turbocycle, and part of my turbocycle league. However, it's more of a miniland or techic model by scale, and town by theme. It's a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

|
| I went over to Adrian's house today and took advantage of his collection being 5 times bigger than mine to build my first dark gray MOC. This time, the ship does have controls: (3 URLs) II-Blade> I especially like the way the rear of the ship turned (...) | Hi. Great stuff. Its not too often we see girl spacers in here. You have a cool storyline. I was curious if you were running a satire on the church and space genre. Anyway I love your work so keep it up. Fradel (22 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

| (...) Thanks for the comments, it's always nice to have feedback. I've decided that what this thing really needs is a small robotic rover to fit in the back, so I'm working on that now. Thanks on the landing pads, I bought a couple of the small (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Thanks, I originally wanted to put handles on the back (some vertical bars along the side, and also on the door) but it turned out that I didn't have the parts, so that's part of why it's so flat. I think maybe a control pad or something might (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

| (...) Daniel- This is a great vessel! Reads as "utility" to me and I think the form suits it well. Neat cockpit configuration and I think the landing pads are sweet (haven't seen that yet). I like the subtle greeblies and the juxtaposed differing (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

I really like the overall form, the negative space (as Joe said: "The landing gear is a nice touch, too, but the coolest thing is the open area (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Hi there Daniel, Well I have to congratulate you on this model. You have created some very nice curved lines and an intersting canopy arrangement - although the cockpit is looking a bit sparse on the inside. I love the landing gear and you (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

| (...) It seems like you might be able to fit the little space levers on the studs on the doors, allowing for a throttle and a steering joystick. Pretty cook design, I really like it overall. Daniel Rubin (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Unfortunately, the fibers in that paper kind of stand out, especially since the paper has (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

It was difficult enough getting a fig to fit inside that tiny cockpit, so I guess the controls are "hidden" in the studs on top of the car doors... If anyone has a (...) |
| Hello all, I'm mostly a lurker around here, but I met most of you at Brickfest. Anyways, I designed this PCS styled shuttle in MLCAD during my torts class for the past few weeks, and finally got it put together and photographed. The magnets on top (...) And the flaps and the landing gear is really cool, especially for such a thin craft. Only critisism is that the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
