  New MOC: AG weapons platform
 
Hi folks, Hello .mecha! This isn't exactly a de-lurk since I've posted elsewhere before, mostly in .space. Here's my first mecha, although it plays fast and loose with the tricky subject of leg and arm joints by not including either. I hadn't built (...) I'm not sure how much this will help, but the SNOT that ends up on my MOCs is because of what I'm trying to do. I use a lot of hinges and brackets to get the SNOT effect I'm trying for. Also, technical bricks and the modified bricks and plates are (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Could be that they made a non-standard SSD like the one in the opening cutscene for the Computer game Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight. (...) It looks like a grand effort. I don't understand, however, why someone would go to all that effort, yet not make it accurate? The SSD has an arrowhead shape from above, but from below, it's much more greebled, and the engines are sunk in (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
