Re: The Kalashnikov is ready for Battle.

(...) Not too shabby at all. I was concerned that the colour scheme might not work whilst looking at the progress pictures, but while it is fairly jumbled, it works. It adds to the greebling effect I think. You've taken the angled wall idea you've (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  *Now* I'm moved in.

(URL) just so you know where my priorities are, I still don't have a bed. I just hope I can make some more stuff before BrickFest. Woo! [ j o n ] (now if my comcast cable connection would actually stay up between the hours of 11 AM and 11PM I'd be (...)   Re: MOC: Puffin Personal Runabout

(...) Well...if you insist. I just don't dig this one. I mean, I like the colors, and the intakes are nifty looking, but the overall shape just isn't pleasing to me. It seems too tall or top-heavy. Maybe if the wings jutted back upwards, or (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Thanks Gil, the nose was one of the main reason I re-did the front - the original was just a bunch of slopes and there was no exit hatch. This version just made a ton of sense... plus I was inspired by the light gray inverse dome. Wish I had a (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Puffin Personal Runabout

(...) What a clever design, from the JS intakes to the little landing gear, and the neat way the wings and hatch work together for access... kudos for using yellow well, too. The overall shape of the ship bugs me, and I don't know why because it's a (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Kalashnikov is ready for Battle.

(...) Very nice work. I like the balance of detailing and coloured slopes - although I'm not usually a fan of such over-greebling, for a PCS analogue it seems about right ;-) Are those side thingies 1/3 of the way along (with the canopies) (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Kalashnikov is ready for Battle.

Very very nice! I enjoyed the progress you showed online of it and how it evolved. This ship fits a PCS scheme very well. I like how you did the exterior, using SNOT techniques, but putting greeb in there as well. I like the engines, and how they (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Puffin Personal Runabout

(...) Wow, I like it... Good shape, colors, use of parts! I'll take two, need one for the vacation home ya know... -Jason (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Kalashnikov is ready for Battle.

(...) Ummm, Admiral Giddens, sir... We're gonna need more firepower, sir... That said, great ship you have there. It very much feels like the type of ship and payload we might face in our own future, along the lines of the boomer today. It seems the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Kalashnikov is ready for Battle.

In lugnet.space, Leonard Hoffman wrote (...) Jr. Marshal Thats one hell of a celestial staff car, comrad. Its a tight design with extremely well executed greeblage. Although not a fan of the color, or political philosopy 'red', you pull it off quite (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
