  Found a Classic Space 1592

Found this on 1000 Steine last night. I was going to do one myself and was checking to see if it had been done already... (URL) I'll have to find another theme. Insectoids? Allister (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Hey guys, been away from my computer for a while (boy, grounding sux0rs), but I got on today and found this: (URL) nifty little bugger I think ol' Soren will love to see ;) Anyway, there's some other stuff in there, so look around if ya' got time. (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Confessions of a Lugnet Lurker

(...) Yes that is quite "beefy". Definitely designed for Mecha. The Pod-iatrist® add-ons are designed for the DIY market. Simplicity, ease of installation and maintenance, etc. are the key to these products. Alan (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Blacktron Desperado Zeta & Space Police Interceptor

Huh, I never thought about how many toys it could be. What would the formula be? It's not 50! because it can be more than one toy at once. You're not seriously suggesting that one of those...other themes...could actually begin to compete with (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Blacktron Desperado Zeta & Space Police Interceptor

I wish I had bought more at the time. It wasn't exactly a dark age for me, but it was prior to accepting my full AFOL-ness. Blacktron means play value to me, and that's what I was going for - lots of bits for lots of fun. Scott (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Blacktron Desperado Zeta & Space Police Interceptor

Thanks Joel. Blacktron has always been one of my favorites, and black & yellow is cool (but hard to photograph). The pods are where the whole thing started - I just thought those black quarter saucers would be cool Blacktron parts. Scott (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Three times three pics of new MOCs

Thanx Gil. I am working on a version with a new cockpit and some more muscle (Keith thought my guns needed more work, so I took that to heart...) I hope I can upload pics soon. Thanx again and love, Sylvi (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: "Josef" Eastern Block People's Intrastellar Fighter

(...) Ha Ha! Capitalist pigs usually underestimate the power and resources of the Great Eastern Block, the final refuge of the Glorious People's Revolution. Ha! But in reality, these are mostly just re-done up versions of PCS ships that have (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Your splashpage is a freaking riot, Dan. I curse your abundance of both ABS raw materials and building space ;) A nice port for your many and wonderous creations. Cheers, -Gil (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Blacktron Desperado Zeta & Space Police Interceptor

Holey shmoley....12 billion toys in one! As said, nice modularity Scott - this would have made you the king of the block back inna day when Blacktron ruled supreme. They still do today, but are under different ownership ;) Cheers, -Gil (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Three times three pics of new MOCs

All excellent designs Sylvi, but I have to say that the Terran faction ship is my favorite out of the lot. Using the blue tubing to balance the heaviness of the aft portion works really well and creates a unique, purposeful look. Good stuff! Cheers, (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Ice Planet 2002!!! Err, I mean 1993!!!

(...) Curiously, there are also examples of far future scenarios where a technology is theorized as being super-advanced, yet today in real life they have been developed. For example: In the first Star Trek series, crew members of the ship have (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Ice Planet 2002!!! Err, I mean 1993!!!

(...) Sorry. Yooz was talking about foreign languages, so I slipped into the only one I ever learned, German. Of course, I only studied two years and that was years ago, so I have forgotten most of it. Funny that all that I really remember is how to (...)
