  Re: The Buzzard.

Phil, That is one boss nasty lookin' ship! Kinda reminds me of the A10 Warthog. A really big gun (or guns) with wings stuck on it. Your all-brick approach beautifully conveys the necessary stockiness of the design. Really nice color scheme too. Dave (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Or, you could try changing the resolution of your camera. There should be an option some were on a menu... normal for web is 640 x 480. -JHK (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

  Re: MOC: The Buzzard.

(...) Nifty craft! I too do not think you could have achieved the design with mainly plates. I like the overall shape and the rear-angled wings. I can definitely see the influence from WWII fighters. I really like the smoothness of the "plated" (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Gallery (only recently)) but I actually do not always go to Brickshelf because the first two keep me pretty busy. ;-) I enjoy reading the background info or hearing about how a certain piece was used "unconventionally" so I'd say post 'em (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) (snipola gud stuff) I hear ya, but overall I think the exposure is good thru posting on both. Not only does it capture the attention of those that only look at one or the tuther, but posting here gives a chance for exposition and exchange (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spice Harvester

(...) Thank you! I love it when you give feedback. I've always thought of Dune machinery as having a very different set of design standards, more artistic than functional. (...) Not much right now. I'm still tossing concepts around in my head. I (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thank you! I'm thinking of building more stuff with those claws. (...) That was probably the most fun to build. I should post a picture of the suspension in action. (...) I'm honored. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Which in turn reminds me that I need to build something with rotating rear tracks (Maybe PCS... hmmm...) (...) Thank you! I just fell in love with the claws, they were just too odd not to stick on the front. (...) At least it's not a friggin' (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: It's done

(...) Thank you! (...) Typically I just zoom out, select the section I want, copy, and paste into a new document. It's worked so far. As an aside, lugnet.publish might be a better place to ask. (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks! If you ever find yourself in Colorado, email me and we'll hang. It's exceptionally swooshable. (...) There will be a written exam next week ;) Thank you! Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My wallpaper

(...) Hi Dan, Great pic editing. ...so who's flying the Piranhas anyways, the Adaloids or some new foe? I get all geeked up when I think about the Dipwads next story. Mark M. (btw: do you have any pics from the side without the saucer panels? I'd (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: The Buzzard.

That's a great shape and kudos on the keeping away from plates....I could see how that would be an easy out for this guy, but then you'd be hard pressed to do the colour piping! I dig the concept and think it's well on it's way, but if I were to (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: The Buzzard.

(...) Thanks for the suggestion. And you're right, there is plenty of space for that sort of thing. It's certainly something I'm considering putting in—it was getting late last night, and I was excited to get some photos. There's probably room for (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

hizza my shizza, you dig? (translation: relatively new MOCs)

Aloha Spacers, I never know whether I should post some things here on lugnet that are on brickshelf. I don't know about most of you, but I have a ritual each day of hitting the same websites (lugnet, brickshelf, fbtb, etc.). So, when I post a new (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spice Harvester

Having seen this thing in the brick, I can honestly say that it is awesome. The claws run the risk of setting a new standard. The feature I was most impressed with though, was the sort of working suspension reminiscent of the uranium search vehicle (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
