  Re: 6974 Delta-4 Space Center

Hi Dave, this is a great model you dreamed of. Sometimes I also dream of finding a misb LEGOLAND classic space set somewhere in a toyshop. It's always a BIG set. I just can't remember how it looked like when I wake up. Guess it must be the same one (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: More Moonbase Madness ...

Hmm, I like this one more. Also because one can build this easier than the other, because not everybody has that much slope bricks of one color. Bricks should not be a big proplem, though I doubt I have enough of one color... especially yellow to (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Nathan's B-Wing

Hey everyone, I just uploaded pictures of my buddy Nathan's B-wing. It's lacking in the color purist department, that's sort of my job with building the sucker in MLCAD and ray tracing it, still working on that... Just wanted to share it with you (...)   Re: "New" M:Tron models

(...) These are really nice pseudo-alternate models. I really dig the Speeder Bike. Stick some wheels on it and it would definitely look at home in my Turbocycle Racing League. The front part of the Skeeter looks a little odd with the inverted (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  The Alternate Project strikes again!

I finally added on to the Alternate project: It's the 452 Classic Space "Radar Robot," alternate of the 452 Mobile Tracking Station (URL) could use some box scans of alternate models, though. I'm running out of alternates to make! -- Markham Carroll (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: "New" M:Tron models

(...) Wow. That Warhawk is especially badass. Very nicely done. I'd definitely have given higher props to all of Lego's M:Tron in general, if one of those was in the original fleet back in 1990! --Dave (jot and jab) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: More Moonbase Madness ...

OK here's the stepped version : (URL) think I like the smooth one better, though : ) (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: HD-73 "Grubworm"

Guys, Thanks for all the compliments! I'll try to get some more shots of the angles and SNOT design. This one took a little thinking to map out, because 1.) the angles were a beast and 2.) I've had this idea for a while, but did'nt build it so it (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  "New" M:Tron models

Hello all.... I made these little models a long time ago, but just posted them on Brickshelf to share with all of you. I know they're all a little basic, I was pretty much limited with the pieces from all of my M:Tron models (6923, 6956, and 6989; (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space) !

Re: MOC Airspeeder, Starfighter, and N19 Fighter-Bomber

As commmented previously Brian, I really dig the shape of the N19 as it looks like a militarized Naboo fighter. A little bump for those who may have missed it. Cheers, -G (...) (snipped buncha good stuff) (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?

(...) i too would like the smaller corner panels in bulk. but the white arch will be made available with the nasa discovery shuttle: (URL) my eyes deceive me, there are 44 white arches in that set. (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Re: 6974 Delta-4 Space Center

A nice flashback Dave....reminds me of some of the stuff in the early 80's Idea Book. You've gone through great lengths to make the classic elements from scratch...good stuff! Cheers, -Gil (...) (snipage) (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Lego Dacta Delivers! (was: Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?)

Alas, poor Canucks are denied the basic building blocks of PCS. The phrase that haunted many of us throughout childhood....'Not available in Canada.' We'll have to live on vicariously through you, Chris ;) Quite honestly, I don't think I could even (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 6974 Delta-4 Space Center

Hey, that's really nice. It fits perfectly into a classic space setting. Bruce (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Lego Dacta Delivers! (was: Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?)

(...) HAHA! Lego Dacta delivers. After a 2 month wait on parts, the above set has now arrived! This set has the large domes in it.   Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?

Man would custom space sets be sweee...eeet! Chris, could you offer an approximate part count? What about the possibility of offering a kit without the parts you are short on? Greg "Chris Giddens" <cgidd1@aol.com> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?

(...) Ahem... um how much you got?? :-) Honestly though, I have looked into making it a custom kit. I have all the parts to do it I do believe. The ones I'm low on are: The smaller curved dome windows (URL) and medium arches in white: (URL) how much (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Bugs found in Insectoids!

Hi all! I've bought three of the larger Insectoids sets used [1] and they arrived in the mail today. Eager to see what I had bought I opened the box and started investigating the parts.   Rules for April Fool's Day (was: Strange Find on Lego.com)

Okay, so for next year, let's review: 1. On or around April 1st, someone may post astonishing news/pictures on LUGNET. 2. Some people may believe the news/pictures are real, and post incredulous comments about them. 3. Some people may realize it is (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)
