  Re: Cambridge MOC

(...) Good use of some unorthodox parts, like the breastplate and whatever that grey basket is. Including your concept drawings is a good idea! Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New quasi-moonbase MOC

(...) grey parts add a gritty, outdated feel. Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Building Rant One

howD all, just a little building rant here hoping to stir up some cool discussion and sharing of ideas and approaches... Some of you may have noticed that I don't build big. Now that I've posted the Mako, some of you may also have noticed that as my (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Grimlock Interceptor

(...) Nice! It's interesting to see something sleek on the outside with lots of detailed guts in the inside. So many MOCs have lots of exterior detail with a sparse interior. Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Observatory

(...) That's terrific! What a great idea. In your revised version, do you plan on adding doors to the dome, and giving the telescope a greater range in declination? Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space)

  Re: Zoinks.

Ya the Glasse Scepter is really cool! I don't think he talks to many American people, but I know a guy that chat with him via e-mail. If you visit the LRP you might find his e-mail address. t (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sea Monkey "Squidfin" Recon Pix....

I'd just like to say that Felix's whole seamonkey thing has revolutionized a whole category of building great work Meno, and i hope this fantheme (like PCS) continues to gain momentum someday i'll build some too just gotta ;-) -paul (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

  Zoinks.

How nifty is this? So unconventional....I dig. (URL) if you're out there drop us all a line! Cheers, -Gil (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  3 new MOC's

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know about a few things. The first three are MOC's, the first in space and aerospace for me (I never really built there before). But, after studying Chris Giddens' MOC's, decided to make a few of my own. Now, they (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Ugliest Thing You'll Ever See Made Out of Transparent Lego

Oh, it's not that ugly. A little garish, sure, but any rainbow warrior will enact that response. It's pretty cool, actually. I really like the massive antenna arrays. Adrian (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Ugliest Thing You'll Ever See Made Out of Transparent Lego

Wow. You have WAY too many trans bricks! I'd hate to use the restroom. :) -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et In Arcadia Lego: Mako (batch one)

Oh, wow. That's great. The shape is so cool, and the green produces a really novel effect. I really love the contrasting smooth/greeblie surfaces. Very nice. I would have to agree with Paul, however, about the swords sticking out the front. Also, I (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sea Monkey "Squidfin" Recon Pix....

(...) Well, it's not much in terms of look (which is probably why I forgot to take pix) but I'll get a pic posted up soon. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Re: Sea Monkey "Squidfin" Recon Pix....

(...) Thanks! The clear stands work surprisingly well for make things "float". What's good is that the SMs have a one stud point on thier body to attach the stands. And the resemblance to the Nautilus wasn't as intentional as you may think...but I (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Re: Sea Monkey "Squidfin" Recon Pix....

(...) Thanks! Originally, this was going to be an octopus-based 'thing', but I changed my mind when I decided to use orange bricks. My general thought on the SMs is that they make crafts that resemble natural creatures (sorta) but also use fear as a (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

  Checking In...

Hello .space! I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate everyone who has posted MOCs during the past couple of months. With some changes at work and home, I have not had as much time online lately, and as a result have turned into a bit of a (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Ugliest Thing You'll Ever See Made Out of Transparent Lego

(...) "Ghastly" doesn't even begin to describe that. The shape is cool, but the colors...my God, the colors! The only thing that's missing is a wide selection of trans SPUDs...but are there that many trans SPUDs out there? You have acheived (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Rubber hoses + control sticks = beautifully curved cockpits

Hey all, Flexible rubber hoses (the new longer gray ones) fit snugly over the small round knob on the end of a control stick. This keeps the hose firmly attached while the joint at the base of the control stick allows for a large range of movement (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
