Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) heh, no relation to our Muffin Head that I'm aware of. Note the absence of the orange goatee :) As for the design, I sometimes wonder myself where stuff like this comes from. My building style is very freeform. I just get an idea (in this (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I was hoping somebody would notice all that :) Jango Fett is actually chatting with a couple of his own clones. I wonder how he feels about talking to himself. There are also a couple of Ewoks buried in the crowd. I wonder, though, where all (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Adrian, That's just freakin' cool. How solid is the roof when you take it off? how are those black 2x2 tiles suspended between the trans green octagonal elements? Bruce (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

Good to see some stuff outside of the SW realm from you Amado. The G-Wing really set a trend with the Duplo egg....a nice take on it, folding into the Ogel forces. The concept looks good and sticks with the theme, but if you don't mind the critque I (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

Just how freaking cool is that?!?! Oh man, I can't believe you came up with that design. Well, OK maybe I can...but it still is firmly in the can't-be-done-yet-it-is category. That is so wild...it perfectly captures the nightclub scene. I take it DJ (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

(...) Nice Sub! I haven't seen Jon's G-Wing, but the use of those egg shaped parts for the cockpit is a great idea. I'm sorry I didn't pick up a couple when they were out. I looked at them and couldn't figure out how I would ever use them. haha Now (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

(...) Hey, cool! Something worthy of Ogel himself. You would have thought Ogel would of had the best looking ship of the bunch by now, and now he has! Nice cockpit setup and use of the quarter domes. Needs more motors in the back tho...you never (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hahaha! Only if fbtb and theforce.net link to me. Don't think the casual Star Wars fan has that much interest in Moonbase stuff, though. Thanks anyway :) Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Idea: small hatch

Ahh, neat! Would that hinge be strong enough to support a larger dish? Actually, double up the arms and clips, and you could put that on an 8x8 dish pretty easily, to make a big airlock door, or maybe an escape hatch for escape pods or little (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Because the outside was left relatively clean, I packed the inside with as much detail as I could. So the detail's all there, still. As for the roof, the frame is attached above each window with a 1x2 technic axle. I can remove some or all of (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
