  Re: Construction 'bots

(...) Very colourful! I like the welding alligator. That's a good idea, going with a construction theme. Jeff J (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Crow's Nest

(...) Simple, yet technical. Small, yet packed with stuff. Exellent use of parts. This is what space MOCs should be! Dang, how cool is the bed on the roof?! Thanks for sharing this... I've been looking at the pics for a while and waiting on the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Crow's Nest

This is so cool Jeff...I love the space as a new frontier designs. The interior is just beautiful...looks so 'realistic' and meshes wonderfully with the backstory. The bunk w/lockers on the ceiling is awesome...great 3 dimensional thinking. Any (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC pictures finally!!!

Actually Gil, I went out and got a camera yesterday, and got about 7 new pictures of the Hornet. I'm going to take pic's of the rest of my MOC's today, so be on the watch for those little beastie's! So, without further ado, the new and improved (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Crow's Nest

(...) Great backstory, and what a terribly lonely life that must be. It's a nifty little design too, very compact, with clearly no wasted space. Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Will it work?

(...) Nope, "Proof Of Concept" altho I will remember your definition for future use. <grin> (...) No problem, glad to help. Best DaveG (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Crow's Nest

Oh wow - it's already the featured MOC in .space. So that's why my Brickshelf folder was getting so many hits... This MOC was inspired by the recent thread about relativistic rocks. There isn't much to it, so I thought I'd provide a backstory using (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Feedback thoughts

(...) snip (...) of the Rings project, I was thinking of doing a western in Lego, and might do it in black and white. I hadn't reallized that in addition to giving it an "old" feel, it would also give me total freedom in using odd color schemes to (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Blade Runner Police Spinner

Blade Runner is one of my top 5 of all time. Definately top 3 of scifi. This is an excellent variation of the design Jon. I'm consistantly amazed how you smoosh the Bionicle parts in such a way that they don't look as if they are thrown on as an (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC pictures finally!!!

I really like the look of your stuff Austin, tho' as you mentioned the pictures make it a little difficult to make out a lot of the details. The battle bots look great...chunky and serious. I'm really interested in the details of your the head (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Dragon Gunship

Always intresting to see what builders come up with to diversify the alien landscape. I'd have to say that I've never seen dragons used in such a way...the castle folk will be happy (or terrified)! The design of it almost looks retro. The backstory (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: How would you move a planet?

Well, Khan attested the the destruction of one planetary body in a system can shift the orbit of the remaining planets. Of course, Ceti Alpha 5 was laid wasted and infested with disgusting, space ear roaches that turn you into a helpless minion of (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Killer Whale

This a great homage to classic interceptor design. It reminds me (in a great way) of the box art to many of the Atari 2600 scifi games of the 80's. You know, you can never really go wrong with the delta goose neck approach. Some great details as (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
