  Re: Blade Runner Police Spinner

Also wanted to say thanks to John Herre for sending me the (once) black spiral radar dish. Couldn't have finished this without it! [ j o n ] -- (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Blade Runner Police Spinner

(URL) still need to finish the inside of this and polish up parts of the exterior. Note that this isn't *really* a spinner, as it doesn't have wheels. I kind of think of it as a new type that doesn't need them. Also, instead of 2 doors and 2 seats (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.space) !

Re: How would you move a planet?

  Will it work?

(URL) 1x2 tile is held between the 2 ea. "brick 1x1 with handle" and the darker sub-assembly. I do not have the pieces to check the real-world construction, though it looks great in the virtual. Please let me know if this will work in the real (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Feedback thoughts

(...) Conformity and elitism...hmm, this doesn't sound good at all, but I too, have noticed to to a degree. I understand seniority in any forum is inevitable, but it seems to me whenever a lurker hits the scene and showcases a finished model, it (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Feedback thoughts

(...) I do agree that people do need to be more expressive on LUGNET pertaining to the way that structures are built on here. Joel is indeed correct here with his choice of words. As for conformity and elitism, however, I can sense the people who (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: How would you move a planet?

(...) Jon, My high school physics teacher talked a lot about "frictionless grease spray", which made many hypothetical conundrums more thetical. All you'd need to do is spray this stuff on the bottom of the planet, stand behind it on a friction mat (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Good News

Hey, those are very cool! I like the quadraped a lot- the huge turret slung on four small legs give this a really over-powered look. And the Lemur is really cool- big engine on a little cockpit makes a good effect. And the hornet looks like a cool (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Good News

Hey Guys, Great news! I finally got my own webcam today. Circuit City has some pretty good deals, so I went and got one. I posted some pictures yesterday, but they weren very good (taken with a lego camera). But, now, I will take some new pictures (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: How would you move a planet?

(...) I'm almost surprised no one thought of this earlier. Simply use a net to catch passing asteroids or comets and sooner or later you would build up enough speed to go somewhere. I'd better clarify. A net might be a bit week and would be punched (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
