  Re: UniBots! Buy yours today!

(...) Thank you Paul. High compliments indeed. Can't wait to see what you come up with! -Chris (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: UniBots! Buy yours today!

Thanks Jamie. Yeah, the bot factory is a ton of fun. It's amazing what you can accomplish with a limited supply of pieces. Of course, to dig out enough radar dishes and whatnots for these bots (they are all built, btw; no swapping of arms for pics (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Et In Arcadia Lego in-progress ships

(...) thx. its interesting to me that a lot of folks all like different stuff on my site. (...) the short answer is YES! I have 3 things going now: 1) a capital ship (finally), that i think you all will FREAK over :-) (just ask j0n ;-) 2) a medium (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et In Arcadia Lego Resurrected

  O', K!

wow dk grey and orange is nice cockpit reminds me of my triumvirae (which you claim to like) the use of 3D angles keeps it from looking like a flat letter K like some of the other alphabet ships do. That design evolution is phenomenal. Way to do (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: UniBots! Buy yours today!

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I love modular concepts and the notion of having a bunch of these things hovering/rolling/cra...ng/hopping around my new capital ship is exciting. gotta do that thx chris :-D -paul (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: GENTLEMEN!!!

Soon... soon, my pets. You shall taste manflesh... This is brilliant, Jon. I quake in fear at the thought of fleebnorks in these ships. (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: UniBots! Buy yours today!

Those bots rule! I love the diffrent arms on all of them. Never thought of doing a portable bot factory, but maybe I'll have to look into it. Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Some great Space info and dicussion

(...) Fascinating. Although one interpretation of this is to say that any society is inherently a threat due to their very existance, and thus all societies should be erradicated. This type of logic is dangerous because it opens up the possibility (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Timeline is up

This is great - it's cool to see some of the things I dug up on this, and even cooler to see the things I missed. I had long since forgotten the court-martial and some of the other goofier happenings of our little corner of lugnet. Fun browse. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Some great Space info and dicussion

(...) At an SF convention when I was in college, one fellow gave his theory of what first contact would be like: A large rock hurtling towards Earth at relativistic speeds. Boom! Flash! His theory was that once you develop the capability to easily (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Some great Space info and dicussion

(...) True, somewhat. This is exactly what battleships and dreadnoughts can provide: off-shore bombardment. This is the purpose of the CIG (Celestial Impact Generator) on my own Armegeddon Class battleships (it is essentially a non-explosive rocket (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Throwing one out to the .space peeps

(...) I would add that this ability to digitally store images of our MOCs also makes it less painful to dismantle them. Once a MOC has been well documented, the builder can feel more inclined to use its pieces for a newer design, because the first (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Timeline is up

You can now click on "Crash Course" in the .space sidebar. This will take you to an index that has a link to the Timeline. This is far from done but I thought it was good enough to show. If you find any errors let me know, I'm sure there are more. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Throwing one out to the .space peeps

(...) I would not call it a revolution as an evolution. Instead of thinking just "classic" space, people are now in the mentallity of "sci-fi". The concept of collecting a few moon rocks compared to galaxy conquest does not even compare. (...) Not (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Some great Space info and dicussion

(...) Probably not, actually. Fighters/bombers are expensive peices of equipment and getting them into (and out of) an atmosphere is a problem. If you want to bomb a territory, just drop rocks on it. Cheap, easy, accurate, utterly devastating, and (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Throwing one out to the .space peeps

(...) You are forgiven. :-) (...) Actually, I'm ashamed to say I never owned a classic space set when I was a child. I was one of those castle people then, ya know. :-) (...) This is where it's strange (or maybe not so?) for me. I bought the sets (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
