  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

(...) Ka-ching!! (...) Many thanks Chris...it really is a blast to build. I've got a couple more in the wings as well. Actually, this comes at a perfect time as I'm in the midst of minor renovations to my office (aka 'playroom') and these little (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My hoverbike.

Cool Tim. Great move with the enclosed fuel cell. I like my lawgiverIII for that same reason. It's actually got something under the hood. :-) It'll be added soon. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Hey, cool. But it surprises me that Toradoch Kinetics would be involved in such a seedy and underground thing as hoverbike racing. I guess companies go where the money is, eh? :-) This bike is really sweet. Big beefy design, and gotta love that (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: my first seed

Hey, that's nifty. I would have never thought to use that part as what is was meant to be - a base for something. :-) -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

(...) Thanks Gil. The Sedona was the last bike I built - I had some rough and tumble flying tanks, some elegant sleek ones. I wanted something that looked like it wasn't built from any sort of plans. I envisioned Dusty just slapping together (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

(...) Thanks John. I want to see what you come up with. Sure, change the power source. Hell, it's not like the guidlines for a hoverbike are carved in stone. Nothing would ever advance if kept the same as the one before it. Just so long as it's (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

I have always dug this design Chris....it's just so much compact fun! Out of the collection, I think that the Sedona is my fave. The hoverbike design looks perfectly suited for those planets without massive infrastructures and Dusty's ride looks (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pod just not practical? Try a Cube...

What a fantastic use of the seed part....an excellent successor to the pod! Makes me wish I had a few of those kicker sets! Looking forward to many more variations. Cool. Cheers, -Gil (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The XR20 Tadpole.

I quite like this Tim. Not only is this a bomber by declaration, but also by design....those hardpoints and weapons look beautiful. I am particuliarily a fan of the engine cluster. Cheers, -Gil (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: ViaTran and SCM

Hey Paul, Sorry for the delayed response...vacation and all :) My orginal plan for this was to create the truck, then move on to cargo movers, atmospheric transports and eventually a space transport capable of carrying multiple containers. However, (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Keppler Industries Update: KSS Farsearch Class

This is really interesting. You know, the micro class of ships is slowly growing on me. For this one, I particularily like the nautical look of it...almost has esthetic echoes of the Starblazers' Yamato. Veddy cool. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pod just not practical? Try a Cube...

Thanks to everyone for the comments, and pointing out the accessories you liked, etc. :) That's what really got me going on this. Jon: I love the idea about how the walls would go transparent when you start it up - sounds like something that could (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

That's a really cool idea. I've always liked your hoverbikes... I'll go and make some myself. Can we make variations on the fleebnork power source? I have a few ideas for it. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: my first seed

That's pretty neat. A cool use of those classic space parts! I can imagine little children sitting in the seat of the ship and playing Galaxy Warz... :) I love it! Is it supposed to be a moonbase module? -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

I was tinkering around last night and came up with this: The UH-40 space trainer. (URL) on moderation) (URL) trainer served the space men very well, until the 70's ended. Then all the trainers found their way to supermarkets across the galaxy, where (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
