I'm leaving for a little while...

I'm going to be off LUGNET for a little while. I have a lot of school work to complete, and I feel that I'm spending too much time on LUGNET, which I could spend better on other things. I'll stil be building, of cource, probably more then ever. I (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Microfig Fleets(real life pics)

Pretty impressive, Wesley, Although there were hints of distinguished design styles in each fleet, I felt that some design aspects were shared a little too much. Colour schemes were cool. Maybe you should concentrate on building two large fleets (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  WOW!!

Sometimes, when I see MOC's as small and as totally awesome as this, I have to suppress an urge to sell all my bricks and take up painting! Dave (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  CV-12 "Badger"

I got bored a week or so ago, and since Drama was over..   Microfig Fleets(real life pics)

As the title says, I finally got a digital camera and took pictures of the 3(yes I said 3) microfig fleets I have built. All of the fleets have at least 4 cap-ships in it(I go all out when it comes to microfig :) and I still have parts to build a (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: First post -- First MOC!

Welcome to .space, and from your writeup, back into the land of the Brick! Nice start back into things. With Blacktron, you can never really go wrong. An interesting design with some great hallmarks to some of the earlier Classic Space sets. The (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

(...) Everybody needs a skill. (...) I'm glad somebody noticed that. Those wings were a pain in the butt to keep secured onto the rope bridge. Before I put some supporting plates underneath them, they'd pop off if I looked at them funny. Or if I (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

(...) Yeah, the only part of the entire ship without any lame parts on it :) It enabled me to incorporate the sliding motion easily. It's hard not to make a cool cockpit with that slave 1 canopy, though. Thanks Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Entry to lame parts contest

re: First Post -- First MOC!

Thanks for the feedback, Kyle. The Basement Spaceship is something I've been tinkering with for over a year now. You could call it my life-sized lego ship -- it's a definite crowd pleaser. Bit-tech's site looks really interesting. I'm sure I'll find (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOC: T'was the Parsec before Christmas....

Thank you kind sir! The Kringlestar 1 is powered by a two tier system. The 4 independent MechDeer droids provide sublight and orbit-achieving velocities while the Klausitron 4000 antimatter engines enable FTL travel. I am making this up as I go (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
