How about mixing in a minifig cup <part:3899> with the round 1x1 bricks? I don't have any handy at the moment, but if I recall correctly the recessed bottom of the round bricks will fit into the top of the cup. Then you can use a clip to attach the (...) My preferred technique for mounting missiles was to take the 1x1 plate with "hand" and attach it to the underside of the (...)
