Yup, it's your COM port. Rather than put it in a dialog, which is THAT
much more code to write and DEBUG, I've put it in rcxoption.tcl - which
you would know if you read the installation notes on the web page...:-)

Thanks for more feedback Jeff. I really NEED to find out if this works
under NT. It sounds like we may not even need giveio if your modem
starts up when you start the console.
Was editing the shortcut button hard? Any pointers for better instructions?
I have a really nice content management system for my website, so if
you can just email me the text, I'll paste it in.

| I poked about a bit also and found: (URL) 3.html This is one source of both givio.sys, and the instdrv.exe which will register the giveio.sys as a system device driver. Instdrv is a console app which has been adapted from the Microsoft DDK version. (...) (25 years ago, 17-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)
