The compiler can't find "vector.h" - which will cause lots of problems because without vector.h, all of the instantiations of the vector template won't make syntactic sense (leading to lots of random syntax errors later on in Scope.h and (...) (...) [snipped the rest] All the rest is a follow-up to the fact that vector.h is missing. As root, do "updatedb" followed by "locate vector.h" If it doesn't return anything, you need to install the egcs-c++ rpm, which is under (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Ok, did some poking around. In Red Hat 6.2 and in Mandrake 6.1, vector.h is part of "egcs-c++". With Red Hat 7.0 beta, vector.h is part of "libstdc++-devel". (...) Not after doing an upgrade, but I'd mucked so much around with the system I think I corrupted it. I downloaded and installed Red Hat 6.2 and the pre-compiled version ran.
