Dear two,

I like your program very much. I have three suggestions:
1. Give a progress indication when downloading or uploading, if possible.
2. Identify unsaved changes by an asterisk behind the filename in the
titlebar.
3. Allow to copy from the output window. This will enable you to paste
error messages or datalog output into email or Excel ...

Regards,
Sebastian

I was pointed to Mikael's program by an Italian friend, Carlo Ottolina, • who
told the lugnet.loc.it community NQCEdit is very good:
http://news.lugnet.com/loc/it/?n=7365

I tried your brother's program and, from what I've seen up to now, it's
almost perfect. There's just one unexpected feature, I wouldn't say a • bug,
that I want to point to your attention to: when you compile a program
NQCEdit automatically saves your source file. This is not stated • anywhere
and a user probably expects that he can compile the program from IDE, • just
to test it, without getting the source file saved.
Suppose I want to test if a particular statement compiles well: I open • one
of my old NQC programs, insert somewhere a new statement, click • "compile",
look what happens then close NQCEdit. That made a permanent modification • to
my old source file!
I guess that normally IDEs compile source code form temporary files. • That
should not be very difficult to implement.

I must admit I didn't use NQCEdit it extensively yet, so ther *might* be
other areas where NQCEdit still needs modifications, but that's all what • I
discovered up to now. It is compact, fast, has a very good editor and • seems
absolutely stable. A great job. I definitely gave up the idea to update
myself the Delphi source code of RcxCC.

Thank alot for the comments.

We will fix this to the next release. And its a piece of cake to fix this • to
compiling
a temporary file instead. We didn't think about it at all.

In the nest release you will be able to change the color mapping and so • on.
We are implementing a help file (manual) a some other new features.

Coming up soon on http://eriksson.just.nu

Any other ideas what we missed, or what we should put in the next relase,
please mail my brother or me.

My brothers mail: mickee@hem.passagen.se
My mail: maeron@telia.com

/Martin
