I started with patches for legos-0.2.6 and had to recreate the changes in brickos-0.2.6.10.5 I'm almost there... ;-) As soon a I have success, I'll make something available... Watch this space? Any of you have USB tower on Linux working with NQC? (or other language system?) Please let me know what you are using... Anybody interested in helping me test when I first find success? (...) I have a working USB-tower in linux 2.4.21 using the cvs legousbdriver and nqc2.5r3. I use nqc for brickos installation 2.5.09 and dll included for lx uploads. I think I patched the brickos source with a usb patch from either (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hi, Delighted I was to see that the USB lego tower driver was accepted into the Linux kernel tree, so I downloaded linux 2.6.2 and installed the lego driver with it.
