Funny, I just posted an article here about something similar. I
started using LegOS a few days ago, and had the following problem a
few times: after a power off period (of several hours) the power on
did not produce any visible effect, and the batteries were warm to the
touch. Removing and inserting a battery seemed to "fix" the problem -
I could again use the same batteries, but I had to re-upload the
firmware as the RCX seemed to be reset. Looks like a bug...
