Hi,

(I'm new to Mindstorms and new to LegOS so excuse me if this is a
stupid/obvious question.) I'm using LegOS 0.2.6 on w2k. I built a
simple rover robot, and a program to control it (2 touch sensors, a
ligth sensor, 2 motors) in C, and upload it to the RCX using LegOS's
dll utility. All works just fine. The problem is, a few times after I
stopped playing with the bot, turned the RCX off (press the red
button, display says OFF and goes off), and left the bot alone for
some time (several hours), a weird thing happened. The RCX won't turn
on anymore, and is warm to the touch - the batteries are warm as if
they were shorted. If I then take (one or more) batteries out and
re-install them (same ones) the RCX beeps (i.e. it loses the LegOS)
and is ok again. I'd appreciate any ideas on how to fix this or where
to look for the problem. Thanks.

Cheers,
-Dima.
