Thanks for everyone's help.
I just decided to install all the packages.... but now I have a different
problem. I start to compile the cross compiler, and everything seems to be
going fine.... except at the very very end. I get the following message:

I would post the entire log, but it is 480 KB. I also noticed that there
were a _lot_ of warnings that I don't remember ... here is a small
selection....

Also, there is easily over a 100 warnings of each type here..... so I don't
think something is right... all I can think of is that my version of cygwin

| Samuel, From Paolo install instructions (under "2. Build the Hitachi-H8 cross-compiler" last bullet) "Ignore the warnings in compile process. It should work." Essentially you should get some warnings. I suggest you go ahead an try compiling the (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| Hello, I decided to scrape my machine today and when I tried to reinstall legos I ran into a problem compling the cross compiler under cygwin. Here is a list of the packages I have installed: Cygwin Package Information Package Version ash 20020131-1 (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
