Hey, everyone (but I suppose Markus in particular, if he's still even out
there anymore)- I've been playing with the LCD functions in the CVS legOS and,
as far as I can tell, not a single one of the functions requires lcd_refresh()
anyome.
So far, I've tested all the major functions: lcd_int (and thereby lcd_number),
cputc, cputs, and dlcd_show (I think that covers all of them) and none of them
require lcd_refresh before output goes to the screen. I'm not sure that I
actually want to remove lcd_refresh() from the code, but I would like to remove
all the mentions from the docs and particularly from the header files if no one
here objects too strenously.
Of course, if anyone can tell me why it is still needed, that too would be
cool. Anyone? Anyone? Speak up...
Luis

If you comment it out, you still need lcd_refresh()... :-) Bye, Paolo. --- "The pessimist (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
