The latest release's firmware shuts the RCX off if it's idle in program download mode for more than 8 minutes. If you have a program running indefinitely, though, batteries will still run out. Also, TinyVM 0.2.2 should work on CygWin 1.1.x, unlike (...) (26 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

TinyVM 0.2.0 is out. The most common complaints/requests have been addressed: capability to rerun programs, and timers/sleep. There are several other improvements. Hi. since i'm supposed to be learning java right now at my job, and i also like the rcx, i thought that a good way to learn would be to try and get some java programs to run some of my robots. however the links and emails in this discussion thread (...)
