I already responded to Eric via email, but for anyone
else who might be interested, this bug was fixed in TinyVM
0.1.4. The current version is 0.2.2. Expect 0.2.3 tonight
or tomorrow (due to a bug fix, having to do with assigning
negatives to byte or short fields). TinyVM 0.1.3 is the
version on which Donald Doherty's TinyVM Cross Platform Edition
is based. That's probably why Eric is using it. The more current
versions do run on Windows, but on top of CygWin only.
I realize that not everyone is comfortable with Unix-like
environments, so we do plan to do something about that,
at least in leJOS (TinyVM's successor). It will be very easy
to install and use under Windows; about as easy as NQC or
pbForth, as long as you already have a JDK (who doesn't?)
Kind regards,
--Jose
P.S. TinyVM is at http://tinyvm.sourceforge.net
