Re: XCam2 as replace for Vision Command?

I think I didn't mention that there is an addition for XCam2 called XRay which makes XCam2 a usb webcam. My question was if it could be used. Can you select which camera you would like to use in VC software or does it only work with the LEGO cam? (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: XCam2 as replace for Vision Command?

There seems to be a common misconception that all cameras are equal! They are not.   XCam2 as replace for Vision Command?

Hi! Has anyone experience in using the wireless XCam2 as a replace for Vison Command. I was interested in Vision Command but did't buy it because the camera is always connected to the PC via a cable. With XCam2 you could build a robot that could (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Where can I find a 6551 Electric Switch?

I'm trying to find a few (At least 1) 6551 Lego Electrical Switch. I saw two in an old Space Shuttle Technics kit. Lego's web site does not find it by part number. Anyone know where I could get some? (Even a cheap current Lego kit would do.) Also a (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MacNQC and RCX Troubles

I haven't been able to download the firmware file as MacNQC isn't seeing the file when I go to choose it for downloading, even though I can see the file in the Finder. Does the firmware have to be loaded first before I can successfully issue (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Can anyone please point me to where I can download the latest firmware version? I searched the Lego Mindstorms site and can't seem to find it. Thanks! (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
