The tower is just a serial device! No driver (other than that supplied by
Win2K) needed!
You can also use NQC to program your brick, or order RoboLab ($25) from
Pitsco
(www.pldstore.com).
Here are my biases: RCX code teaches you *nothing* about real programming
constructs,
etc., while NQC, RoboLab, etc. all do. NQC is free, RoboLab is cheap. If
you feel you
need a graphical programming environment (because you are new to
programming) use
RoboLab, if you are comfortable programming in a text-based language, use
NQC.
