I just installed the software for Vision Command. VC uses the 2.0 firmware. I have not had any problems with the 2.0 firmware on my RCX 1.0 brick (from the RIS 1.5 set). According to Mindstorms tech support the 2.0 firmware is final . The only thing (...) (26 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I was at a Train Show (PNLTC) this last weekend with my RCX Train and would have LOVED to have been able to have a portable unit for programing in NQC or making small changes... Greetings! I hope theese groups are the right ones for questions like this. I want to program/control my RCX or Control Lab, from my CE device. Hi John, Is it possible for you to put some sample pictures ( up close of Lego, of course ) somewhere on the web? You could maybe post them to BrickShelf, if you don't have web space elsewhere... I just picked up a copy of the Vision Command today and boy is it cool ! I found it toady in my local Target along with the $49.95 mos espa pod race special :-) The little web cam is way cool. it takes great pictures, better than my other web cam. (...) Hi, in the german edition of the electronic magazine "elektor 9-2000" I have seen some sensors for the RCX. The "non-contact object detector" came with the english edition of "elektor 5-2000" but now there are details for an interface, a noice (...)
