If your subs won't be called more than once, you can create a VB procedure with the code and "call" it where you want the code. It will work like a C macro, inserting copies of that code whenever called and keeps your code organized. I know it is (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Assuming both RCXs are facing each other, this can be done by using the IR transmitter of the RCX on the detected robot, and a forward pointing light sensor on the detecting robot. Maybe you can try the laser pointer that Mike Burger (and several others?) did for the RCX. And use the light sensor to detect it?
