Hi Holger,
I definitely know that Robolab 2.5.2 is running in classic mode of MacOS X
10.2.8. So it must be something with the file owner and user rights for a
file or a folder in your system (and in every other system where the
software should be installed)
When I take a look to the system folder of MacOS 9 on my disk and get the
owner information then I must see that the owner of the folder is system and
that everybody from the group admin should be able to read&write.
I don't know why it does not install. Try to set the owner of the system
folder to your own account and send this to all files and subfolders within
the system folder (this could be done with the button below).
To change the rights you must open the lock with your administrator
password. (see the pictures pict1 and pict2)
Now the software should be able to install the system extentions for the
lego usb ir tower and everything could run. After you finished the
installation classic mode must be rebooted to load the usb software.
Don't forget to set the owner back to system and send this to all subfolders
again. Then lock the rights.
Look into the future .... Robolab for MacOS X comes soon!
... hope this could help.
