Hello John, Worked fine for me, with the following setup: RCX2.0, USB tower, BricxCC 3.3.7.6, firm0328.lgo, Win2000. Distance between tower and brick: 20 cm. Download time: 1'25" I tried also 50 cm away (worked) and 1 m away (failed). Philo (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I've had a report that fast firmware downloading doesn't work with the latest release of BricxCC (either tower). In my tests, with an RCX 1.0 brick plugged in, low ambient light, short distances from the USB tower, and all the firmwares I have (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I've gone ahead and released a new version of BricxCC. Get it while it's hot! :-) There are a few rough edges in this release, primarily in the pbForth console. Also, the leJOS .hlp file was so large I did not include it in the main installer. The (...) (...) we ' ve told about this thing with Philo few days ago cause he had the same problem. So I' ve made several tests with 4 RCX: 2 RCXv1.0 and 2 RCXv2.0 . It seems RCX emitter is the same in 1.0 and 2.0 versions. But 2.0 receiver is less sensitive (...) (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Progress so far (2 URLs) I have a feeling I won't be able to stabilise it further until I can get better sensors.... Download one large file (which is, unfortunately, 18.9 MB) and you are ready to go. I've tested it on W2K and it (...)
