Hi

I'm keen on building a Legway but Hitechnic tell me they no longer supply the
sensors.... (or I maybe they don't want to supply me in New Zealand)

Are there alternatives?  either pre built or a circuit daigram?

I don't have any electronics training but have just built a
multiplexed sensor from an internet circuit for the line following at the NZ
Robot Olympics and am feeling cocky....
If only my programming was as sucessfull
(which is sad cause I was a programmer in a previous life)

My family all ride unicycles and I'd like to experiment with an amputee? Legway.   Has anyone done this?  or have an expanation why it impossible?

if it's impossible I'd still like to build a Legway...   Blow the kids away... and the idea of Legway sumo is enchanting..... what happened with that?

   regards Harold

(...) Henrik Dahlgren posted here several months back saying that he had successfully built a LegWay using standard LEGO Light Sensors instead of the HiTechnic Proximity Detector. I don't know how much code modification was required, but here is his (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
