In theory - this could work. The Linux IR project folks have had success with using laptop IR ports as remote control devices, but the range is short, and the viewing angle rather limited too.. Should be OK, the light sensor mode works by measuring the resistance of an external LDR (light-dependant resistor), so it is designed to cope with the equivalent short-circuit of a stalled motor.. the only problem might be the back-emf generated if (...) Hi everybody I hope that i'm not the 24th to ask the question ! A french guy ask me if its possible to use standard Lego Mindstorms with NT4. (i use win98, and it works fine).
