(...) Well, there were a couple of typos, but only one I found that was critical. If you are using a "max-picking LIDAR" method, you do *not* want to divide by the number of samples. (...) i have downloaded the SerialPing.nqc program hoping to get an easy to use proximity sensor. i have modified it to work with only one light sensor. but it shows always -90 on the display. ok, sometimes -89 too. can anybody tell me, what i did (...) (...) try GPS8.vi hat you can download at www.convict.lu/Jeune...amera8.llb I added a small sub.vi to GPS8.vi that allows you to find your USB converted serial port. Probably you have it on Com4. I am trying to interface a serial IR tower RoboLab 2.5.4 B. The serial tower is connected to com4 via a PCMCIA RS232 1 port card. I can select the com4 port in "select Com" within RoboLab.
