(...) Dave, This is good to see. You may have done this intentionally, but 'sleep' and 'msleep' are both listed twice. Also, under cputs and cputw, it says '(only forst 5 characters)' and should be '...first 5..' I've never been able to get the (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) Yes, I suggest making an inertia circuit for use with trains, but for cars something else might be better. In RCX float or braked modes the power H-bridge flywheel diodes will brake the motor, but in high power applications, how often is float (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) Good idea. It will be difficult, though, to determine the differnce between braked and floating motor setting, or am I wrong? Or maybe one should measure the resistance on the RCX terminal, when no voltage is put out. I thought of invading the (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Noone has it listed on Bricklink right now, but there was a recent Mindstorms survey held on LEGO.com that hints at the possibility that they might be coming out with an RIS 3.0 sometime in the near future. I'd like to upgrade my RIS software to 2.0, but it would appear that Lego no longer sells it. (URL) says "Sorry this item is not available in this country." I called Lego shop today, and they confirmed that it is discontinued. Perhaps someone knows (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
