These guys have a robot controller that replaces the RCX that uses the gameboy as the main processor www.charmedlabs.com I'm thinking on getting one. I called them yesterday. Very nice guys. It won't ship until the end of June though :( Andy (20 years ago, 15-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) This might be old news, but I just tried it anyway... You can connect an RCX motor port to a CyberMaster sensor port and vice versa and get tri-state info. I did this in the past (since disassembled the bot) and found it to be quite reliable; except on slippery surfaces and carpet. :) The trick that I employed was to gear-up the rotation sensor. This causes the rotation sensor to detect even a slight (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
