Hi Erik, Starting after the 1.0.7 version, echo from RCX was disabled (controlled by RCX_ECHO variable, off by default). Current version (1.1.0 as I remember) shouldn't show any echo. hi guys, I just started the pbforth for the first time! definitely interesting experience. I use the minicom to communicate with rcx now. it looks like it's working, I can start/stop motor etc... however it always puts every character I type twice (...) So, I have a quick question: has anyone built egcs 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 with gcc 2.9.5? I'm getting some very weird errors when I try to build the cross compiler- basically, it appears that the parser is trying to read certain comments as assembly (...) Hi folks, all you Palm owners out there, don't forget to check out the lugnet.robotics.palm newsgroup. The earlier problem with BrickRemote and LRemote turned out to be the server. Hello, one of my beautiful new rotation sensors was jammed right out of the box. I built a robot to try out dynamic equilibrum, i.e., balancing a weighted stick, only to notice that my construction didn't turn at all because of sensor friction. (...) (...) Now I know what makes the RCX freeze: On my RCX , the variable dkey_multi, which stores the status of the keys, always has the first bit (0x1) set. Well, it's hard to say what the problem might be. Since you've got the green LED going, you've probably got the cable wired correctly. And yes, it's 2400 baud, 1 start, 1 stop, 8 data, odd parity.
