I'm Not sure why the Color Handspring Visor should have such a small IR Range with the software. With the software running on my Palm M100 it has a range of approx 2 meters. With the software running on a Palm IIIc it has a range of at least 6 (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Well, you should just 'cause their pretty nifty, but not just for this software. I tried it out, and it does control the motors on the RCX and Scout, but the range (using a color Handspring Visor) is severely limited, only about an inch or so in (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Just thought people might like to know I have developed a piece of Palm Software called Robotic Mover which allows you to remotely control your RCX. Unlike the other available software, This does actually use the built in infrared port of the Palm (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics.palm)
