Crossposted to lugnet.robotics.palm If you interested in the stuff try lugnet.robotics.palm group I think one of the problems with the built IR is its hard to code for it as it doesn't obey any standards like IRDA correct me on this one if anybody (...) No the hot sync cable (cradle) wouldn't work - I have modified the cradle to stop the battery drain problem, but don't think this caused the problem I know the modem cable is wired differently it's a 25 pin connector and I used a 25pin to 9 pin (...) (26 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

David, Are you saying that the HotSync cable didn't work? It worked for me when connected directly from the Palm to the tower (I had to cut off the screws to make it fit in the tower). I haven't seen the modem cable for the Palm. Does it fit into (...) (26 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)

Yes do put some programming ability into your app, would be useful to write simple programmes to test models without having to get to a PC. Hey maybe Dave Baum can write a NQC compiler! Just kidding I tried it today with my palm modem cable it works (...) (26 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)
