The location(C7) for the .1uF that you are refering to is located on the sonar driver board, on the lower left corner of the ribbon connector. Any non-polarized cap will do just fine. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Just wondering... in reference to the modification on the Polaroid 6500 sonar ranging board, there's been two different assertions. Should the 0.1uF cap be of a polarized (e.g. electrolytic, tant, etc.) or non-polarized variety (as stated below)?... (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) I don't think it matters much. I used a 'lytic and it works fine. Hi ! Can we connect two ir emitters to the HB IRout port (female connector J7) for left and right obstacle detection ? If so ! how do we distinguish between the left IR led and right IR led transmission since I'm planning to use only one Ir detector (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
