I didn't see the program, but I have an article my brother cut out of a
newspaper and sent me, the guy's name is Mark Tilden, he makes all his
robots out of old walkmans and pagers etc. I find his claims kind of hard
to believe also. He has a website at:

| I've built a few of his machines myself. The "Neural Net" is a 74ls244 set up as a shift register with RC networks between each stage. The walkers go forward ok, but can't turn or back up. Mark Tilden's very talented at mechanical design, though! (...) (27 years ago, 18-Mar-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
