Hi Rob,
Based on the messages you're getting, I'm guessing you're running freeware
IC under windows. If you run under DOS, it should work great. The problem
is that, since freeware IC doesn't call Windows serial communications
routines, it will sometimes lose characters, causing miscommunication with
the board, and messages like "-49152 extra bytes left on board stack".
IC 3.1 was rewritten for 32-bit Windows, so if you want to run IC under
Windows 95 or NT, IC 3.1 fixes these problems.
