I have had no problems assembling the handy board up until now. During the
testing of the digital inputs, I am not getting the proper responses. I am
getting the press start button message and can successfully move on from
there. I can also move on from the "press stop..." and get to the screen
with the zeros blinking. I can not however get any of the inputs to
register a 1. I have checked the orientation of RP1, and it is fine, as
well as all of the other RP's and IC's. All of the connections look fine.
Here is my situation leading up the the problem.
1) I don't have a logic probe so I didn't test the previous step, the
peripheral selector.
2) When I tried to load hbtest.c, I got a message that start_press(),
knob(), stop_button(), and _raw_analog() were undefined. I thought those
should have already been loaded up when I started IC, but hey... Well, I
found a file called lib_hb.c (it wasn't being loaded at start up... a file
lib_r22.c was) and cut and pasted the needed functions into the hbtest.c
file saved it and loaded it successfully. Were those functions outdated? I
got all the files off the handy board software link.
3) I have read there are problems with using DC adaptors with ratings of 1
amp. max. I know this can pose a problem with battery charging, but I
didn't think that it would affect this... am I wrong?
What is going on???!
