All I can add is that is what mine does, and it seemed to break when I
hooked up a 'normal' 12V battery charger, which is opposite polarity to
the HB charger requirements. According to the diodes in the diagram, this
shouldn't be a problem, but that's when the display went gray on the top
bar and it could no longer synchronize. No smoke or anything detectable
by anovice. Since the power supply still worked, I ended up gluing
another 68HC11 board to the Handyboard to keep a working system.
Isn't that like a computer? Get indispensible, and then break.
