Sorry, there is nothing I can do about this short of compiling,
installing, and configuring brand new mail list software from scratch.
The mail list SW my lab provides is very primitive and can't do
anything intelligent with bounces. I don't really have the time to
invest in learning majordomo right now.
There actually are typically fewer than three genuinely bad addresses
on the list at any given point in time, but it is true that one post
can generate a pile of annoying "warnings." Like I care that mail to
someone on the list is delayed for four hours. I guess I would care
if it were a personal message, but the mail list software basically
makes it appear as such! Argh.
So, in short, sorry.

| Fred, I get a bunch of bounce-back messages when I post to this mailing list. Apparently many of the addresses have gone bad. It doesn't really matter, I just delete them, but how does one, as a mailing-list administrator, deal with address (...) (28 years ago, 29-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
