| hello everybody, iam new to this list so please bear with me if this topic has already been discussed. iam intersted in using sonar sensors to detect and avoid obstacles using IC commands. is it possible to use the handyboard without the expansion (...) | Two comments for Garth (and others doing this) #1) You have 2 phase, bipolar *STEPPER* motors, not "servo" motors. The difference is quite significant if you were expecting a servo motor. A stepper motor has a coils positioned around the motor shaft (...) (28 years ago, 31-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| I have two questions; The first is about a 2 phase, bipolar servo motor that I ordered from digikey. Since I have never used servos much before I was stumped when I recieved the motor and it had four wires coming out (Red, Blue, White, Orange) of (...)
