  Motor driver source

Does anybody have a source for the L293D motor driver IC from SGS-Thompson? I'm building a 6811F1 and a 6816 based robot, and I can't find a source for the driver. The Handyboard parts list just says that SGS-Thompson is the manufacturer. Thanks. (27 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  RJ11 on the interface board

Hello What is the difference between having a side entry RJ11 or a top entry on the interface board. Are the pins in the same order. Thanks Scott Moore (27 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
