Hi, I have a question. Can i use stepper motors to drive my robot platform ? Do i need a gear ? I'd like to use stepper motors instead of normal ones, because I would not need any shaft encoders. Hi All, IR emitters and detector used on Rug Warrior Pro are LTE-4206 and IS01U60 respectively. Can any body help me out, from where I can get their data sheets? I'm having trouble interfacing theRC Systems' V8600 text-to-speech module via its TTL serial connections and the HB w/exp brd using just one output pin and signal ground to send text to the V8600 (at 9600 or 2400 baud). Anyone know if there is a difference between these #s found on two different detectors? gp1u5 81x and gp1u5 2x? I dont think there is any difference but?... Hi, could someone please direct me to the right place to find the Hitachi LCD as well as the Dallas Semiconductors voltage monitor and the infrared demodulator. Marshall has the LCD for 15 dollars and the IR demod. for just over 3, are these good (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Hi Clancy, Sounds like your HB has a full height crystal. I think a half height one is in the specs, if you're worried about it switch it with a shorter version.
